CCIC Branches and Business Area- for Scrap Pre-shipment Inspection (May 7, 2015)
In order to further improve pre-shipment inspection work of importing recyclable materials to China mainland, China AQSIQ released notification on business areas of each CCIC inspection company this February. All containers of scrap shipped to China mainland must apply for pre-shipment inspection from appointed CCIC companies, and inspection on arrival has been canceled, which could instead of CCIC pre-shipment inspection in the past. Cross-regional inspection will been forbidden since May 16, 2015. Updated CCIC branches and appointed inspection areas go as following:
